Entomophagy is the practice of consuming insects as food. In many cultures, insects are a common source of protein and other nutrients. Insects are also an environmentally sustainable food source as they require less land and water to produce than traditional livestock. Additionally, insects can be farmed using organic methods and are generally free of antibiotics and other chemicals.
