Sleepwalking, also known as somnambulism, is a sleep disorder characterized by walking or performing other complex behaviors while in a state of sleep. Sleepwalkers are often not aware of their actions and have limited memory of the episode upon waking. Sleepwalking is most common in children, but can occur in adults as well.
