Bruxism is a condition characterized by the grinding or clenching of teeth while asleep. This can result in jaw pain, headaches, and tooth damage. In severe cases, it can also lead to temporomandibular joint disorder (tmj). Bruxism can be treated through behavioral therapy, oral splints, and medication.
