An inherited condition that causes harmful compounds to build up in the brain. The condition becomes noticeable in childhood or early adolescence and get worse over time. Symptoms may include muscle spasms, stiffness, trouble walking, speech problems, and vision loss. People with this condition may develop mental disabilities, personality changes, and depression.
