Rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder (rbd) is a condition in which an individual acts out their dreams during sleep. This can result in physical movements, such as thrashing or hitting, that can be harmful to the individual or their bed partner. Rbd is often seen in older adults and is more common in men than women.
