Salt substitute
From W8MD weight loss and sleep centers
A replacement for table salt used by people on low-salt diets. Salt substitutes often have potassium chloride or magnesium chloride instead of sodium chloride (salt). Salt substitutes can help people reduce the amount of sodium they consume, but these products could be harmful for people with diabetes, heart disease, or chronic kidney disease. They could also be harmful for people taking medications such as ace inhibitors and some kinds of diuretics.
