For those with Keystone First insurance in the greater Philadelphia area, W8MD's weight loss program is accepted for weight loss visits, though the insurance does not typically cover weight loss diet medications. However, W8MD's biweekly program cost of $50.00 covers up to two diet medications. W8MD's program provides behavioral treatment, lifestyle counseling, information about getting enough sleep and managing stress, and ongoing feedback, monitoring, and support throughout the program. The program sets slow and steady weight loss goals and includes a plan for keeping the weight off, including goal setting, self-checks such as keeping a food journal, and counseling support.
