Antidepressants can affect weight differently
Weight change with antidepressants varies by medicine, dose, duration, diagnosis and individual response. Depression itself may reduce or increase appetite, and recovery can restore normal intake. A medicine that causes loss in one person may cause gain or no change in another.
Never start, stop or switch an antidepressant solely for weight without the prescribing clinician. Abrupt discontinuation can cause withdrawal symptoms, relapse or suicidal crisis.

Medication choice must prioritize mental health
The best antidepressant depends on symptoms, prior response, bipolar screening, anxiety, pain, sleep, sexual effects, interactions, pregnancy considerations, seizure risk and suicidality—not weight alone. Bupropion is also part of the obesity drug naltrexone/bupropion, but that combination has separate indications, dosing, contraindications and warnings.
