Exercise is any physical activity that requires physical effort and is performed to maintain or improve health and fitness. Regular exercise can help improve cardiovascular health, increase muscle strength and endurance, improve flexibility and balance, and reduce the risk of chronic diseases, such as obesity, heart disease, and type 2 diabetes. Exercise can include activities such as walking, running, cycling, swimming, strength training, yoga, and many others.
