Amazing success stories
I started with Dr. Tumpati and W8MD in August 2014. I weighed 212 pounds. I am a five feet tall woman, at the time I was 56 years old. I was depressed, my cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood sugar were all elevated, and I was altogether miserable. At this writing, November 2019, I have lost and maintained 100 pounds. All my blood levels are now normal. I have energy, vitality, and if I say so myself, I look AMAZING!
Following the program, which can take a variety of forms, but for me means taking the doctor-prescribed medication and following a very low calorie very low carbohydrate diet, not only resulted in this dramatic 100 pound weight loss in just slightly over a year and my ability to continue to maintain my now healthy and desirable weight, but the amazing thing was that in very short order ALL cravings DISAPPEARED!!!

More W8MD weight loss success stories
I am not a person who uses the word 'miraculous' lightly. However, that is how I would describe my experience with W8MD.
I had struggled with my weight and the seemingly uncontrollable craving for inappropriate and/or excess food all my life. I am 65 years old, and had been obese since I was 3.
Thanks to the medication – in my case Phentermine - and dietary approach (with the emphasis on high protein and minimal carbs) I learned to utilize with this program, I've not been obese now for approximately 10 years (I was 100 lbs overweight when I first walked into W8MD’s office in 2014 - and I have maintained at least an 80 pound weight loss consistently.)
The phentermine and W8MD’s program made this possible, however sometimes it was still something of a struggle – the uncontrollable urge to eat inappropriately would still be a nagging, gnawing feeling. This urge could occur despite all reason to the contrary, sometimes in the middle of the night. There were even times I woke up in the morning, and the only way I realized I had eaten during the night was the evidence of dirty dishes and empty containers.
I was and am still extremely grateful for the success I have achieved through this program, and the support and encouragement I received from Dr. Tumpati and all of his staff, even when I was disappointed in myself.
And now the injectable Mounjaro, a drug previously solely used for treating diabetes, has been approved for weight loss. This is an incredible gift. And Dr Tumpati, who has always been on the forefront of ways he can help his patients, has welcomed this treatment and is now using it regularly in his practice with people who have excess weight.
Dr. Tumpati started me on Mounjaro injections about 6 months ago, essentially as soon as it was approved for use to assist with weight loss. Dr. Tumpati has always put his patients first, always seeking better ways to help and heal.
I am now experiencing a freedom with regard to food I never thought possible. For the first time in my life that drive is non-existent. I actually feel almost indifferent regarding food. I eat appropriate foods in appropriate amounts when I’m physically hungry, and the rest of the time I needn’t put much attention on it.
Also, seemingly effortlessly, the 20-30 pounds that continued to haunt me has disappeared, bringing me to what I have always felt would be my ‘ideal’ weight, though I never thought it possible.
It’s as if the Mounjaro was the missing piece in the puzzle and I am experiencing a relief I never dared imagine.
My BMI, as well as all of my vitals, could easily be that of a woman half my age. I feel amazing, and I’m rockin’ those size 6 jeans!
